Five students from Enactus Sheridan travelled to Montreal to compete in the Enactus Canada National Exposition from May 1-3. Teams from 64 colleges and universities participated.
Annually, the Enactus Canada National Exposition brings together student, academic and industry leaders from across the country to celebrate the achievements of Canada’s future leaders and entrepreneurs.
Over the course of three days, students showcased how their community outreach projects and business ventures were enabling progress through entrepreneurial action. Through rounds of live, presentation-based competition, business leaders served as judges to determine which Enactus team will be named national champions and represent Canada.
Enactus Sheridan, with support from faculty Connie Stevens and Garrett Hall, presented on two projects and their impact, which were sustainability series workshops in partnership with Mission Zero, and Entrepreneurship & Me, a women entrepreneurship panel. This Nationals experience was filled with learnings, and the team made lots of connections and networks with other colleges and industry professionals.
